Terms & Conditions

Effective August 22, 2026. This is a placeholder policy for becoming. and will be updated as the platform grows.

Your Content, Your Story

Every chapter, photo, and milestone you post on becoming. belongs to you. By sharing it on the platform, you grant us a limited license to display, store, and distribute it so we can operate the service — things like showing your chapters to the people you've connected with and powering your calendar and registry.

You're responsible for what you post. Don't share content you don't have the rights to, and don't post anything that infringes on someone else's intellectual property.

Using the Platform

becoming. is a place to celebrate real milestones — career wins, fitness goals, new homes, new pets, and everything in between. You agree to use the platform honestly: no impersonation, no fake chapters, no spam.

We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms, misuse the registry or gifting features, or attempt to disrupt the service for other members.

Privacy

We collect the information you give us when you create an account — your name, email, username, and location — along with the chapters, events, and photos you choose to share.

Event privacy settings (public or private) are respected across the platform: private events and their guest lists are only visible to the people you invite.

Data

Your data is stored securely and is never sold to third parties. We use it only to run and improve becoming. — personalizing your feed, calendar, and coming-up notifications.

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Community Guidelines

becoming. is meant to be a warm, encouraging space. Be kind in comments and celebrations. Harassment, hate speech, and bullying of any kind are not tolerated and may result in account removal.

Gifting and registry features are for genuine celebration — misuse of cash funds or quick gifts to defraud another member will result in immediate account suspension.
